Building foundations for lesbian womyn of color
Uzima Collective is a non profit organization created to increase community involvement among lesbian women of color by enhancing social development and personal responsibility. In order to effectively respond to societal restrictions that limit lesbian women, Uzima Collective works to address social needs of the community by targeting three specific areas: community involvement through education, strengthening family relationships, and increasing health awareness.
By targeting these area's Uzima Collective strives to promote personal growth and to meet the social, psychological, and artistic needs of the lesbian community. We also promote spiritual, mental, and physical wellness through our social support programs. We are dedicated to inspiring self empowerment, self expression, and visibility.
